– 3 pounds (about 1.4 kg) russet or Yukon Gold potatoes, thinly sliced

– 2 cups heavy cream

– 2 teaspoons fresh thyme (or 1 teaspoon dried thyme)

– 1½ teaspoons salt

– 1 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
