7 Warning Signs of a Heart Attack You Should Never Ignore

A heart attack does not always begin with dramatic, crushing chest pain.

Some people experience symptoms that are mild, unusual, or come and go. Others may have warning symptoms hours or days beforehand, while some heart attacks occur with little or no warning at all.

That is why recognizing the possible signs—and knowing when to seek emergency medical care—can be extremely important.

Importantly, there is no reliable list of symptoms that can predict a heart attack exactly one month in advance. Symptoms such as fatigue or indigestion can have many causes. • Tightness or heaviness
  • Burning or fullness
  • An uncomfortable sensation in the center or left side of the chest

The discomfort may last several minutes or go away and return.

It does not always feel like severe pain, which is one reason people sometimes mistake a heart problem for indigestion or muscle pain.
